Meet the Team

Your role is just as big as ours.

Garima Arora

Hi, my name is Garima, and I am one of the Co-Founders of ProjectQ. Optimism, empathy, and hope are things that come naturally to me, and these are the ideals that led to the genesis of this project. I am extremely passionate to use my privileges to make a difference in the society. I believe it is imperative for us as educated members of the society to create a ripple of change and strive to create a world where everyone is comfortable in their own skin and can embark on the journey of self-actualisation.

Co-Founder of Project Q

Nyasa Goel

I'm Nyasa, one of the project's co-founders. You will often find me in the kitchen covered with flour or chocolate, or day dreaming about my next trip around the world. This project means a lot to me because I don't want to live in a world where loving is a crime and the word 'gay'makes people want to run and hide. I wanted to create a safe platform where a community - so inspiring yet so misunderstood - could shine in all of its glory.

Co-Founder of Project Q

Jaitshree Naik

Finding something I am passionate about has always been something I struggled with, and ProjectQ helped me realise what it was. I'm an advocate of LGBTQ+ rights (also human rights in general, obviously) and don't shy away from speaking up about topics that have some form of social stigma attached to them. Through this project, I hope people find a safe haven - a place where they can express themselves, without any apprehension or sense of regret.

Co-Founder of Project Q

Riya Ray Chaudhury

I have been out of the closet since 2018 and have been an outspoken member of the Heritage community regarding queer topics and issues ever since. With being queer, there come attached an array of problems and struggles; an urgency colours everything and the difficulties faced by LGBTQ+ people can’t be ignored no matter where one retreats. As someone who authentically understands what it means to be queer in a largely anti-queer society, this project is extremely close to my heart.

Head of Content Creation

Aarushi Godika

Hi I am Aarushi. I’m a very avid activist and I don't hesitate to speak up. I joined project q because it served as the perfect medium to keep speaking out against injustices prevalent in society. I believe that nobody should ever be stripped of their right love, in turn, their right to be themselves.

Head of Content Creation

Maahika Mitra

With everything that is going on in the world, it is of immense importance that we support one another. And the lgbtq+ community also needs to know of our support. Through my contribution in this project I aim to show my support for the community.

Head of Design

Vidisha Tripathi

I’m Vidisha, a student of grade 12 at Heritage Xperiential Learning School. I’m passionate about design, and have extensive experience in both fine art and digital art. However, I believe that my defining quality is my passion to advocate for causes. I feel deeply for the lack of recognition and social acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community in India. I wish to work towards bettering this through my art :)

Head of Design

Suhani Bhateja

I am Suhani Bhateja currently in 10th grade and my aim to join this project is to spread awareness about the LGBTQ community using my area of skills. IT sector is my area of strength and I would like to express my belief that love should not have any boundaries and no one should be treated differently for it.

Head of IT

Rajveer Sodhi

My enthusiasm for this project stems from how much it bugs me when someone tries to censor me talking about the LGBTQ+ community. I really find it apalling that we still sidelines such a mundane part of our society for no rational reason. This coupled with my interest in web design made this project the perfect way to play my small part in helping out!

Head of IT

Drishti Asija

Hey! My name is Drishti, I’m studying in class 12 in the Heritage school. I’m filled with energy and enthusiasm. I talk A LOT, one can talk to me about everything under the sun! This is why I like working for social causes and why I decided to be a part of project Q. I believe that new clothes and shoes don’t make us modern, fresh thoughts and mindsets do. Equality should be our reality!

Head of Logistics and Communication

Soham Saleem Abbasi

My name is Soham, I am the Co-head of logistics and communications. I joined this initiative as i feel that the world still has a very conservative mindset about the LGBTQI+ community and many people who are liberal in their way of thinking (including me) don't know nearly as much as they should about the community

Head of Logistics and Communication

Bhavya Gulati

I’m Bhavya Gulati currently studying at the Heritage Xperiential Learning School Gurgaon. My main motive to join this project is to spread as much awareness about the LGBTQ community and their rights. I believe no one should be discriminated on the basis of their sexuality and deserve equal treatment like the others.

Head of Marketing and Publicity

Inayat Thakur

I'm Inayat, a student of grade 12, Heritage School, Gurgaon.
I feel very passionate about lgbtq+ community as well as see a huge lack of acceptance for it by society, here in India. Through this project I aim to spread awareness as well give the community a safe space to be.
